Most travellers prefer to fly to Mombasa from Nairobi. Its cheap, fast and convenient. You’ll get there in under two hours. However, if you are looking to spice up your adventure, how about travelling to Mombasa by train? The standard gauge railway is modern, safe and comfortable. If you choose the express Madaraka train, you will be in Mombasa in four hours and thirty minutes. If you’d prefer a first class ticket, or a window seat, we recommend that you plan early.
